Associate Professor TANAKA, Hirohiko

　I have been appointed as Associate Professor at the Advanced Measurement Technology Center, Institute of Materials and Systems for Sustainability, from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Nagoya University, as of July 1, 2022. I promotes researches to realize the magnetic confinement fusion, which is regarded as a future energy source, in order to solve global environmental problems such as global warming and resource depletion. In addition to experimental measurements of heat and particle transport using high-density plasma generators and simulations, I am also involved in research on the formation of nanostructured metals, which is expected to have industrial applications. I look forward to working with you.
