I promotes researches to realize the magnetic confinement fusion, which is regarded as a future energy source, in order to solve global environmental problems such as global warming and resource depletion. In addition to experimental measurements of heat and particle transport using high-density plasma generators and simulations, I am also involved in research on the formation of nanostructured metals, which is expected to have industrial applications.
